Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:4-7

  • There are a few power words and phrases in this passage:
  • Rejoice
  • Do not be anxious
  • Prayer and Petition
  • Thanksgiving
  • Peace of God

Rejoice: Regardless of the circumstances "Make the Choice to Rejoice"
Do Not Be Anxious: Don't let the circumstances get the best of you - Remember who's in Charge.
Prayer and Petition: Present your concerns to God - that will help your anxiety.
Thanksgiving: Praying with thankfulness goes a long way with God.
Peace of God: God's peace is given to those who bring their needs, desires and concerns to God with thanksgiving trusting him for the best outcome... and rejoicing along the way.
